Brian's European Bonanza

Back in Seattle

Well, after 3 weeks of adventure, I'm back in The States. Not surprisingly, it was raining in Seattle when I got there. And the next day. And the next day... and so on. We decided to hang around for a few days to visit friends, and to get my baggage which was left in Portland (which was left because of my run-in with customs involving two oranges undeclared and a banana, which cost me $300--way to welcome me back, DHS).
We went to an Ethiopian restaurant on Capitol Hill with my friend Emily, Eri's cousin Nick, and her friend Jonathan. They just serve all the food on one big platter, and you take this flatbread-type stuff and pick it up with your hands. Interesting food, but it didn't really get along with my intestines.
This is our submission to fuh2.com, a website dedicated to pictures of people flipping off Hummers.
CrapDonalds--internal symbol of America. We were stuck on the pass for about 2 hours as they did avalanche control. Luckily it was just raining and the roads were clear.

A picturesque snapshot taken by Eri. We ended up going the wrong way to Wenatchee instead of turning off at Vantage.

Hope y'all's enjoyed my pictures.
